About Us: Systems One was born out of a need for a company active in the South African Market that specialized in Turnkey Materials Handling Solutions in the Logistics Space.
Mr William Madeley the Managing Director has been involved with Logistics Automation since 1992 in South Africa.
Highlights
William’s company installed the first Camera system in the world to read Barcodes In-flight to capture images from a SWAD machine at Berco Logistics in 2007. The SWAD was South African-developed and was the first to compete against the fully imported Cargo Scan equipment that was laser-based.
The company headed up all three Edcon sorter installations responsible for all scanning and the entire electrical installation plus software development on conveyor in-feed from 2003-2006.
Designed and developed the first locally manufactured Static dimensioning, weighing, and scanning system for PEP 2009
Supplied equipment and solutions from 2002 to 2010 to Berco Logistics, DawnWing, Sun Couriers, DB Schenker, Value Logistics, RTT, CourierIT, Pick & Pay, Spar, Woolworths, Nike, City Couriers, Mr Price, Truworths, O R Thambo, Durban International Airport.
During these years we became a market leader in Logistics control, track, and trace technologies. Developing hardware and software specifically for individual customers' needs.
William’s company was bought out by a strong German Company because of the vast knowledge and experience required to enter the South African Market. William headed up the company as Director until 2017.
Christopher Madeley who worked in the same team from 2010 on projects in the Logistics Automation Division, such as Kalahari.com, Clicks, and more.
Nicole Van Loggenberg also started working for William in1998.
Nicole performed a role as Sales Engineer for Logistics selling systems and solutions into the Logistics Market.
Systems-One is growing at a fast paste and have recently acquired a Mechatronics Engineer and a Service Technician to complement our Team.
Systems One is the newest Member of the Mitas group of companies. We have extensive in-house company resources within the group, focusing solely on software development, PLC development,electrical and mechanical specialties which include design, service and support. Mitas is a Global company that is currently on an aggressive path internationally.
